or will it at all?
Will there be changes made as to how military units are assigned guard duty? Will the USA continue to use "cilivian contractors" (dang it, let's just call them mercenaries and be done with it) Will it change military training at all?
But the question that is more troubling to me at the moment is what will this do to recruiting policies? Are today's young people going to start thinking twice about the promises being made to them? Are we going to see a drop in military troop numbers as people go elsewhere? I know of a few folks both officers and enlisted men who'd like to get out just as soon as they possibly can. One in particular who is just infuriated at what has been done to the military by the current adminstration, but can only say this privately.
And if we see a drop in recruitment...does that mean the draft comes back?
Thanks to this administration, I think next several years are going to be dangerous time and like it or not (and I emphatically don't), we're going to be drawn into an even worse mess. Our military is going have to be ready and the thought of what that might mean scares me...
