He apparently said that 18 Senators (all Democrat of course) heard about Abu Ghraib in February. Is he yet another LLLLLLLIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR ?
2. Rush read a list of senators who were contacted about AG Prison
he named, Clinton (H) and Byrd and Rockefeller and Lieberman and Biden among others. Said they all sent form letters saying let the military handle it. They even approached Bill O'Reilly who wouldn't touch it.
7. Sounds as though the Philly Windbag was parroting Rush
but Rush claims that the people who contacted Col. Hackworth tried first to get help through the senators listed (plus others, he named them all). He said that Byrd's office told them they don't read e-mails less than 500 words (do they count them?) and that many others sent form letters saying to let the military handle it. I guess if Rush was lying, the senators involved would be denying it. I really hate to be a Rush apologist and I hope this story is not true.
he won a prize and some local notariety for his high school reporting. That gave him the idea that he had a talent for journalism. I believe KYW sponsors the prize, so bringing him back as a common tater makes them look good.
Too bad he didn't take up journalism -- it has been all downhill since high school for Smirky.
