Hastert Rips White House
Could it be that even the congressional repubes are getting tired of being shit on?

Republicans on the Hill are so frustrated with the White House that when Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) criticized the administration at a House GOP meeting last week, the caucus burst into applause....

A rank-and-file lawmaker said: “Hastert was frustrated and disappointed that he had not been dealt with openly and fairly and given accurate information. He was not so much speaking to the conference as he was speaking for the conference....”

3. Denny's gotta be a little nervous - for two reasons.
One is that if anger towards the Fraudministration spills over to the congress who enables them, he'll lose his job.

And then there's the remote possibility that Junior and Uncle Dick both getting impeached, which would promote him to "Great Satan" and number one target of pissed off terra-ists everywhere.

5. After reading
I got the impression that the House of Represenatives is being treated like a "junior partner" by the White House & the Senate. Hastert is getting pissed off about it.

8. You're right,
The House "leadership" is just as bad as the rest of the republicans in key govt. rolls.

I have noticed that the House is playing less of a role getting legislation through as it is now being used as a rubber stamp by Shrubco.

At least in the Senate, they still have to fight for things.

7. Rats leaving a sinking ship??
Bush has treated everyone poorly including the repugs in congress. It is beginning to come back and haunt him. At some point, we are going to see a mass abandonment of Bush and Rove.

9. The real sign that "It's over"
When the Repubs begin to walk away from the Pres., Bush is toast. Once the Repubs figure out that Bush has become a liability to "thier own career" they will start to distance themselves from him. When that starts in earnest - We is free from the Mas'r at last!!!
