Just what is the Democratic Underground?

What should this menagerie of thought be? My Aunt seems to think that DU is under the guidance of 'Satanic forces'. I don't know. The last few weeks have brought up issues ranging from '
(Iraqi) prisoner abuse(?) to 'My god! Look at how that execute 'our' civilians!' All of this I find deplorable. What has happened to the American People to find this even happening? My God! Have we've become the low of the low of the human race? I cannot help, when I look at these issues, to see that we, yes we, the Democratic party (even those that went 'green') are responsible. We allowed George W. Bush his appointment too the highest office of the free world when we spinelessly back down in the election of 2000. Are we to allow these very same creeps the freedom to walk all over us again?




Please tell me what you think the DU is and should be!
