New Kerry Commercials: Anyone seen then on TV? Kerry must show VISION
Has anyone seen them? If so, what state are you in? $25 Million being spent

Just curious. NOW is the time for Kerry to really define HIMSELF and not the failings of the President.

People are so hungry for hope they'd eat Bill Clinton's socks.

We need charisma and vision. I know Kerry is a late breaker but we need some DRAMA in his speechs and VISION.

5. No Commercials Here
Thanks for the link. Being in Texas we don't get to see Kerry ads. I was impressed by the ads.

4. Iowa
They are in every media market in Iowa. I have seen them playing frequently in Des Moines and Sioux City markets.

6. they have been playing here in MN for a few days now
His daughter and wife talk about what a great guy John is and then he says something about optimism or can-doism or something. Very warm fuzzy, but short on drama. As for charisma and vision that is cleary the intent but not sure how effective. My spouse was not impressed.

7. I'm Here in Michigan
Is that the commercial with Rassmann, where he says that John Kerry risked his life to pull him out of the river in Vietnam?

If that's the same commercial, I think it's playing pretty well, to be honest.

8. different ads
No this one isn't about Vietnam. Rather it is Kerry as warm-fuzzy family man with optimism for our future. I thought it was fine although a little corny. But my spouse thought it was dumb and she is more removed from these things than I.

10. I See
The one that has Rassmann on it that I saw also had Theresa and Vanessa, so I thought maybe it was the same one.

Or maybe the one you're talking about is a shortened version of the one I've been seeing.

9. Good replies...thanks
Get NOTHING in non-swing states so it's good to hear the ads are getting played.

Just an intro but the Dems need one HELL of a convention to fire up moderates that Kerry is the man.

11. In NE Florida and have seen the "Bio" and "Commitment"
commercials. I thought both were great. Liked the "Commitment" one because it clearly and succinctly articulated where he stands on his priorities AND his COMMITMENT to keeping America safe. Especially liked the "Bio". It is such a sharp contrast to the shrub. Volunteered for military service because as young man from a privileged background, felt he should give something back to his country, was a prosecutor, 30 years of public service. Teresa was great as was his daughter. All in all, a super commercial.

12. I hope this is just a warm-up...
.... he's letting people know who he is first, before he moves on to real policy initiatives, and a new phase of the advertising campaign, where the "vision thing" becomes more important.

You're right with your diagnosis.

13. All he needs is a pulse
Smirky is beating himself.

Heck, in a couple of months, Kerry won't even need a pulse. This country will elect a block of wood before Smirky gets back in

Kerry should lay low.
