If the Democrats wrote misleading ads like the GOP does....
If the Democrats wrote misleading ads like the GOP does (actually, it's not misleading at all):

Voiceover of images of Bush & Delay:
"In an effort to protect the bank accounts of the wealthiest 2% of the population, George Bush threatened to veto the $87 billion appropriation to supply our troops with the arms necessaray to protect themselves in Iraq."

Voiceover of Bush: "Ill veto that bill if taxes on the top 2% of the population are raised to pay for it!"

Voiceover of announcer, in an increasingly ominous tone:
"Body armor....
President Bush...." Bush's voice: "veto"
"ammunition....
President Bush...." Bush's voice: "veto"
"food and shelter for the troops....
President Bush...." Bush's voice: "veto"

Voiceover of an image of an over weight, pasty skinned, Mercedes driving golfer getting into his car:
"President Bush...cares more for the wealthiest 2%...
Voiceover of images of troops under fire:
...."than he cares for the troops fighting to protect us...."

1. Actually, that would be a good response ad....
If they stop telling lies about us, then we'll stop telling the truth about them... :)

4. You need to send this to Kerry
This would be a great campaign ad on tv. I don't see anything any more misleading than the ad they did on Kerry. We have to fight fire with fire
ELECT KERRY 2004!!!!

5. That's great. Let's do it.
Great ad. Let's do an Internet version of it. I just saw some great ads that a Kerry supporter made on her own hook and they put it on the Kerry Web site.

If I can find the link, let's send the link to her. She may have a new job.

If you place the ad on a few stations around DC you get national attention.

Send it off to whomever you think will make good use of it. I just posted it on the Kerry campaign suggestions forum. We need to fight back hard, damn it!!

7. If we cannot find tape of Bush threatening a veto...
I know someone in the White House has been recorded saying it both vocally and in writing, and also many of the other surrogates. As for the stating of the words "veto" later in the ad, in the Bush ad this plays on, they did not use Kerry saying "no" to all of those provisions, and the same can be done in a Kerry ad.
