Awesome stuff, great history on the rise of American Corporatism/Fascism.
I read over your proposed amendment, and looking at the $225M cap on revenue, a few thoughts came to mind. I don't want you to think I'm being a critic, just things I'd like to see:
- Do phone and electricity get split up into sub-state level companies, or is it assumed by the government?
- How would Detroit re-configure to this? I mean would Ford be broken up into multiple companies? And what would happen to all the Union guys up there ( I have family there )?
- I'm in the tech industry, how does your proposal cover people like Amazon, who have a presence in only one state, but did $6B last year in sales?
- Does the revenue cap only apply to US revenue, or global intake, if global, how does that position our economy for a international trade?
- In the short run, what happens to the stock market? With higher shares meaning higher risk with higher control, wouldn't it plummet, and if so, wouldn't that lead to a cascade of debt? How do we avoid another depression?
- How do you defend against harassment and politically motivated business shutdown under section XII? I mean couldn't racist cops just search and effectively shut down any popular African American run establishment, since this overrides the 4th Amendment?
