Let's compare these two photos:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4855930

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x1579884

Can someone with greater skill at doing this please put these two pictures side by side? Thankyou.

We know that Charles Graner Jr (with the electrician gloves on) is standing up against the wall. We also know that the fat bastard is a civilian translator. Who is the guy with the green fatigues? This person seems to be of importance.

4. The perspective changes
The second picture has the prisoners pointing toward the viewer. The first picture has them pointed toward the end of the hall.

7. Working on that.
The pic is not flipped - it's from the other end of the hall. Were these taken the same day? Same camera? Anyone know?

17. The tall husky guy with the gloves on....
has the same posture as the guy on the corner of the 5 killing Berg. Look at his boots, they're the same boots. Don't know how to paste photo of 5 killers next to above photo.

20. The person in the first photo, talking to someone else...
center of photo, that looks like a petite woman. Look at her feminine hips. I saw Englad in another photo wearing exactly the same brown color t-shirt and her arms look the same as that female in that photo.

23. I suspect those brown tee-shirts are pretty common in Iraq
these days.

I'm not saying it isn't England, but I wouldn't want the ID to hang on a brown tee-shirt.

Ditto on the army boots mentioned in a previous post.

Are those the three cells from these three prisoners?

22. On the far up of photo #1...
behind the guy carrying some papers, there's another naked leg of someone standing, which could be the activity taking place in photo #2. By the swing of the arm, the person carrying the paper(s) is walking toward the guy wearing the green cap. There are other legs and boots. There's a white head light in the center of both photos, and the white plastic chair on the left of photo #1.

Photo #2 you can see the second bloor clearly. It looks as if the photograph is on the second floor.

27. Who is #4 in the second picture
And why doesn't he have anything on except a pair of shorts? That's an odd way to dress when you're on duty?

Also #2 is pretty heavy for a soldier. More likely Intel or a private contractor?

Ummm. Those types of chairs are pretty common.
I'm looking at other things than just the white chair in these photos....the electrician gloves, the green fatigues, the so-called translator, the GI with the black shorts...etc. All suggest that these two photos were taken on the same day from two different perspectives.

24. are they common in Iraq?
is that a common color to paint the walls? (the walls in both the prision and where the man were executed are the same color) you have to be aggressive in your investigation and questioning, notice EVERYTHING!!!

19. BOTH of these shots make me wonder...
They were supposed to be casually shot with a digital camera right? Was the photographer of these acts that the military obviously wouldn't want released.... hanging of the side of the wall and then from the roof when taking said shots?

I mean, seriously, the angles these pictures are shot at, seem totally ... just wrong. I'm not saying this about all the photos, just the few that are taken at these kind of angles.

25. The white chairs
My parents have got them as garden furniture. My ex had them out in Hungary.

A lot of the government buildings were ransacked just after the war, the buildings were striped of everthing, so when the u.s. moved into them they had to buy a whole load of furniture cheap so they bought a job lot of these white chairs (amoung other things). (my guess)

26. It's no. 3 we need to know the name of
It seems more that a little annoying that all the other guys are named but no. 3 sort of gets lost in the mix, almost as though MSNBC have clearence to identify everybody except no. 3.

As for the pictures being in the same series I nearly posted in the original DU thread that there would be other pictures of that scene because that is what you do when you take pictures, take three or four. My guess there is photograph in the series that would better enable us to identify no. 3, wether it will be released is another matter. I bet Sy Hersh has a copy of it.
