Freerepublic quoting Joe Lieberman Now.....
He is still linking Iraq and AQ... And as for an apology. Well, Buscho has a long list. And as for the Fallujahns, what led to the burning of four Americans is the story that America will never hear.

)))))))))))))))))

Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-CT, demonstrating yet again why he failed to achieve the Democratic presidential nomination, sensibly put the Abu Ghraib prison scandal in perspective: "The behavior by Americans at the prison in Iraq is, as we all acknowledge, immoral, intolerable and un-American," said Lieberman. "It deserves the apology you have given today and that have been given by others in high positions in our government and our military. I cannot help but say, however, that those who were responsible for killing 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001, never apologized...And those who murdered and burned and humiliated four Americans in Fallujah a while ago never received an apology from anybody."

1. These people still wouldn't have voted for him had he been the nominee
Edited on Fri May-14-04 03:43 AM by bluestateguy
Oh sure, now that he's not the nominee they say a bunch of nice things about him and paste his quotes on their board, but had he been the nominee they wouldn't be so kind. They'd just piss and moan about his "liberal" voting record on domestic issues, they'd Jew-bait him and at the end of the day they'd gloat about the fact the the other major party's nominee had essentially concluded that the Bush foreign policy was correct. Meanwhile, the defection on the Left would be disastarous: Nader would win 10% of the vote.
