Who is the Worst in Conservative Talk Radio?

Well, who's the worst spewer of RW lies? If there are more that can be added to the list, feel free to list them.

With Savage a close second.

I've never heard of Parshall.

It would've been Rush, but he has lost some credibility with the brownshirts, and the last time I listened he was rambling incoherantly.

Hannity is a lightweight, but the boy knows how to spin.
The freeps eat up the chit-sandwiches he serves up.

Limbaugh doesn't necessarily lie as much as he takes semi-facts and runs them through his twisted logic designed to reach whatever conclusion he needs to attack a person, idea, thing or democrat.

Hannity, on the other hand, rambles on and on throwing more blatant lies into his diatribes than Limbaugh does.

Savage does both but in a deranged and incoherent way.

BTW, I listen to all of the guys often. I believe we have to know what these fascists are saying before we can combat them.

The sound of his voice makes me want to stick my finger down my throat and vomit.

he's got a real high pitched whiney voice. Married to Dr. Laura too, isn't he? Poor slob, bet she ripped his nuts out, explains the voice thing.

And he is insidious. He was called the most dangerous man in America and he loved that title. He brags about it often. He is losing steam though and it won't be long before he gets really outrageous to try and regain some of his lost luster.

Savage has the worst prattle, but Limbaugh is more influential.

all right that was TV, not radio, in fact it's why he's not on TV anymore, but you get the idea. In Hawaiian (sorry to say, he lived here when he was a botany student at UH), the word is pupule: plumb loco.

I have an employee that listens to that show in the afternoons, and sometimes I hear snippets in the lab. That is one F'd up human being (Savage).

The prior comment though that his audience is too busy buying guns and building bunkers to vote had me in stitches.

Just to present a visual, this "man's man" who challenges liberals to come down to the station so that he can "kick their ass" is about 75 years old, about 150 lbs----- and wears an ascot. I kid you not.

He pretends to be a libertarian and even sends money to the party, but drug legalization is his token social libertarian stance. Otherwies he's a blatant Republican that will soon eclipse Rush Limbaugh in terms of influence.

Savage is just so angry and vile that even most right-wingers have a hard time putting up with him. Those that actually listen to this guy without laughing at him, however, would scare me.

Bill O'Riely is a whiney prick but he's at his prime right now and will never get past Rush or Hannity in terms of audience. Also, both left and right see through his lies about his own political affiliation; he can't hide behind the "Traditionalist" label he hands himself, and he's burying his own credibility in every broadcast.

Sean Hannity is pretty dangerous IMO because he's so well-tuned to the GOP. I'd put him at #3.

Rush is clearly the most influential of 'em all, but he's been suffering ever since the Oxycontin abuse has been exposed and he's on his way out.

Laura Ingrahm simply isn't important.

Lars Larson is boring.

Dr. Laura is incredibly agitating but she's just not that influential.

I never heard nor gave a crap about Glenn Beck.

I love the Orwellian title of that network, too--don't these idiots remember what happened at Salem? If anything, it shows total contempt for their listeners.

Janet ("Partial-Brain") Parshall is one of the craziest of the crazy. Just the musical intro to her show is an exercise in fascism. It's right out of "Triumph of the Will". She's totally demented by religious-right ideology. I'm also convinced that money is changing hands on her show based on the kind of marginal "authors" and vanity-press books she's always pushing. It's obviously a right-wing infomercial sort of show, without the standard infomercial disclaimer.

Right now, Parshall is kind of marginal herself, but people like Chris Matthews and MSGOP give her WAY too much--and totally disproportionate--facetime on their shows.

Oh, I almost forgot--the title of her show is "Janet Parshall's America". Does that title strike anyone else as particularly megalomaniacal? How can you use a possessive pronoun in conjunction with a country--a CONTINENT, for God's sake?! Every time I hear her say that, I want to scream "it's not YOUR America, you SOB, it's OUR America! F*** you!"

but my I wasn't registered when the poll started. What's the most dangerous thing about him is that he's basically trying to scream his way back to relevancy, and there's still so many people who take his word as absolute truth. It's people like him who have reduced our public discourse from actual discussions to O'Reilly-style scream-fests. Even my mother, a die-hard Republican, hates him after a rant a few years ago about how all sexual abuse victims are liars (or something to that effect).

My girlfriend just said the funniest thing about Michael Savage, though. She said that it's like listening to a crazy old man with tourette's syndrome (no offense to anyone actually suffering from tourette's).

I had to vote for Rush after that clip Randi played the other day on her show. Rush was excusing the behavior for the torture sessions by saying they were just letting off some steam and it was the equivalent of a college prank. I couldn't believe my ears as they processed that crap.

they all have their bad points, but i think rush has lost a lot of "real" audience, its a lot of people like us who listen to see how bad he is today, i can't even stand to hear him he so delusional now!

hannity has to have an edge because he seems to be attracting a younger audience, the neocons of the future. this is far worse than preaching to angry old people.

saveage can actually sound like a dem at brief moments, thats scary too.

He is on KGO in Saan Fran. He sounds so intellegent. His voice and inflection almost makes you want to accept what he is saying without question but if you really listen he is spuing right wing propaganda.

He sort of has a Cheney type of voice.

He'll say something like the liberals are getting our soldiers killed in Iraq because they give aide and comfort to the enemy by opposing the war.

I also want to puke when some admiring freeper type comes on and calls him Dr. Wattenberg. What is it with the wingnut talk show hosts and the need to be Dr's?
