Looks like they're going to keep higher up names out of torture story

CNN reporting that Sivits statement is that no higher ups had any knowledge of the torture and abuse in the prisons. This story just continues to get more disgusting

in exchange for a slap in the wrist.

if they tell the truth, THEN they go to jail for a long, long time.

The Democrats better not let that happen. Lindsay Graham and a few other Republicans were very clear about the seriousness of the actions depicted in those photos.

I can't believe the defensive claim that "see they're more barbarous than we are. . ." argument when the rest of the world has seen the repercussions of our devastation. By keeping secret the effects and casualties of our sophisticated "smart bombs", daisy cutters, and cluster bombs, to us the war is somehow "sanitized".

All war is barbarism, whether it's hands on (ugh) or by remote control.

We must deal with this honestly or we'll only be even more screwed than we already are.
