Spain's Ex-Prime Minister Warns of Threats During U.S. Election
The former prime minister, who is scheduled to meet with President Bush in Washington on Tuesday, made the remarks during a visit to Chapman University to receive the school's Global Citizen Medal at a gala dinner.

- Terrorists will try to affect the outcome of the U.S. presidential election as they did in Spain with the Madrid train attacks, the former Spanish prime minister warned Saturday.
Jose Maria Aznar, on his first U.S. visit since voters ousted his conservative party days after the March 11 train bombings, did not say where terrorists would likely strike, nor did he specify what outcome they would desire in the election, but he described the attempt as a certainty.

"It's important to realize that the terrorists will do all they can to disrupt the upcoming U.S. election," Aznar said on the second day of a visit to California. "They are going to do everything in their power to have the United States fail."

1. Where is Chapman University?
Is it like Hillsdale or Bob Jones or Liberty or someplace like that?

3. Self-serving threat. Aznar is incapable of taking responsibility ...
... for his own behavior. Typical plutocratic blind arrogance.

5. What nonsense.
Why in the hell would terrorists give a shit about elections in America? If anything they would want to see Bush voted out so why try and disrupt that process?

8. why would.....
terrorists want to see lil' george voted out? The bumbling and incompetant, yet evil s.o.b., is like a blessing to them, they've gotta love the pr*ck.....
He's obviously not concerned with going after real terrorists, and he's provided them the recruiting opportunities of a lifetime, in addition to creating a fertile breeding ground for them in Iraq.....
I see the shrubbies and usama's ilk in this sort of strange, codependant relationship, where both sides need each other to achieve their ends, after all, does anyone think shrub can win an election on the issues? Or that real Muslims identify with the al qaeda scum and their twisted interpretation of their religion?

6. Oh, Aznar is just trying to justify his loss
He is blaming his loss on the attack, not on his lies. The people booted his lying bottom out of there so he is coming here with his stories.
