What my kids used to do about the Pledge......
I have always been a radical and taught my children to stand by their beliefs. They always refused to say the Pledge in school. Always got in trouble at the first of the year, for it, too. Sent to the principal's office, they would tell him that they owed their allegiance only to themselves and their family. That usually worked for them. If it didn't and the idiot principal was stupid enough to call me about it, or try to discipline my child for it, they only tried once.

3. That is how I feel.
I am not against the pledge. But it is not right for a teacher to make a kid say the pledge like a robot who is expected to perfrom on cue.
