5. The biggest, and pretty much the only, one I can remember...

...is one that he campaigned on and one the former governor refused to let the citizens vote on and that was the concealed handgun license. Kind of ironic, is it not? The governorship fell to the Republicans, and put one in the White House, over one of the petty issues that cost our party so much.

The other two items occurred during the terms of both Bush and Perry. One was mandatory sentencing for gun crimes and harsher treatment of gangs; both go to federal court now. The other is taking minor drug possession cases to medical courts, not criminal ones. I'm not sure if Bush or Perry was aware of either item.
