I heard something interesting tonight
A friend of mine works for LEARN, Inc. and he is the director for their Veteran's Upward Bound program. He was at a conference in Denver and in one of the meetings someone from Washington revealed that Bush was Learning Disabled. Before he could stop himself he blurted out "Well that explains it." I thought that was interesting and it does explain a lot.

5. Did you say the president made mistakes?
I'm going to have to take you into custody as an enemy combatant.

GET ON THE GROUND! GET DOWN ON THE GROUND! LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS! SHOW ME YOUR HANDS!

Heh. ;)

7. Don't you mean
ASSUME THE POSITION, ASSUME THE POSITION!!! A few years ago, that meant lay face down with arms and legs spread wide. After, the Iraqi prisoner abuse, "the position" might have a different meaning...Kevin.

:)

4. He's obviously a dunce.
Learning Disabled is just a nice way to say stupid.

16. Gee thanks. My daughter is learning disabled
She has problems learning in a traditional setting but is not particularly stupid. She's certainly smarter than Dubya.

She's probably smarter than you.

6. Remember
"Fool me once . . . . . . . . . . shame on . . . . . . . . . you . . . . . . . . . . . . If you fool me once you can't get fooled again!" President George W. Bush

9. Beyond the cowboy down-home affectations, He has always struck
me as a really, really dumb guy. I went to one of the Ivy League schools he has a degree from and understand that sometimes people get in based on family/connections and money.

If anything, he seems less and less intelligent and mentally capable over time. Totally incapable of formulating any kind of intelligent answer to a question. He seems like the least mentally nimble president... well possibly ever.

I would hope that many Republicans are very disappointed in their party machinery for anointing this guy and railroading McCain in 2000. For all the McCain bashing here, he would have been a billion times better than this guy. And at least 2/3 of the Senators/Governors would be more intelligent and well spoken than Bush and do a much better job of representing our country (of course there are always troglodytes like Inhofe and DeLay who are the exceptions to that).

10. Only 2/3 would be more intelligent than *? How about 98%?
He's at the extreme tail end of the bell curve. He's almost off the charts.

But then again, he's our first Freeper President.

14. Well knowing this
It scares me to think the Air Force thought he would make a good pilot. He can not answer a question on the fly from a reporter. In a plane you have to make split second decisions or you are toast or your plane is a ball of fire on the flight line.

11. When * got on his campaign bus recently
he remarked how it was MUCH longer than the ones he rode in school.

(Shamelessly lifted from one of the late night shows, can't remember which...)

He has a lot more than a learning disability wrong with him, btw. I know plenty of people with learning disabilities who have a heart beating in their chest. It's doubtful * has one of those.
