Why McCain Can NEVER be the VP Nominee..
Because some mentally unstable right wing religious fanatic would assasinate Kerry to elevate McCain to the presidency. McCain is anti-abortion.

just my humble opinion

...can now end.

3. I don't understand
I don't understand why any Democrat would want McCain anyway. He is right of center, not even a true moderate. Lets get some engaging likeable handsome dude to fill the slot and bring some light and levity to the Kerry campaign.

You say handsome dude is shallow? Please my friends review the voting electorate before you cast dispersions....

9. Your right
and I don't think that there is any real consideration for McCain as much as it is a wily political play for the swing voters and making Kerry appear to be more bipartisan which is appealing to the swing voter which we need to win the election. The funny thing is, McCain is playing along. Good politcial play if you want to win the election and we should all be able to see it for what it is worth. That being said I would be very afraid if I was Kerry and picked a repuke vp, I agree wholeheartedly with the original post.

11. Kerry IS actually more bipartisan than shrubco. It's not just a posture.
It would be impossible for him not to be. What Democrat (Zell Miller doesn't count) has shrubco ever helped or worked with, or compromised with?

They are about as bipartisan and diplomatic as the Borg collective.

5. I will drop out. I'll give up. I'll join the people I don't admire.
I'll close my ears, eyes, and mouth and find something worthwhile to do, but I will utterly give up on this country.

Kerry is already walking on egg shells with me.

McCain says something logical every once in awhile. But he has better friends on the very deep right. He could have stood up and fought when they Roved and Atwatered him - he could have stood up and exposed them.

NO WAY to a John and John!

7. Yup. As I've said, it'd be like putting a bullseye on Kerry's back.
It'd be the greatest disincentive to join the Secret Service since DimSon.

13. Oh common.....that's just nuts!
I suppose you all hate me too, but I don't believe ALL Pugs are out to destroy our Country, the same as I don't believe all Dems are so Dovish they would let our enemies over-run us.

McCain is about as honest as you're going to find in a Wash. politician. No I don't agree with him all the time, but I like that he is a man who speaks agains and votes against proposals by his party that he disagrees with! He is a Pub, and has always said that. As to the RW fanatic trying to make him Pres..........NO, they hate him more than we hate Zell,,,,,,,,,,ant that's a whole lot of hate!
