Time for Powell to resign
No respectable human being would accept the mistreatment Powell has been subject to, especially that embarrassment on Meet The Press this morning.

Do the right thing Colin.

2. What in the heck happened on MTP? I only saw a snip on CNN
and I caught the end of it and Russert looked pretty pissed off. What in the heck happened?

5. Check the DU threads
there's a link to the interview--apparently Powell's Press Sec ordered the camera off of Powell just as Russert zoomed in on the WMD question.

4. Colon long ago lost his sense of 'right and wrong'. All he has left now
is a very tarnished legacy and a pathetic and pointless loyalty to an administration that used him to give them some semblance of legitimacy for their idiotic and insane war.

Not that he had a whole lot of integrity to begin with. Remember the investigation into My Lai? That was the true indication of Colon's sense of decency and integrity. Or lack of rather.

7. "No respectable human being would accept the mistreatment"
Agreed no respectable human being would accept it. Powell will. Draw your own conclusions.

8. Powell is stuck

He has alienated everyone else who respected him. He's stuck with the Neo-Cons now. If he bails on them, he'll be alone in the political world.

Don't forget that this administration is hog wild about prosecuting "traitors". If Kerry wins, there WILL be investigations about all the Bush shenanigans. Powell will need political cover if that happens. He won't get it from Republicans if he bails on them at this crucial juncture.
