Torture Scandal And Beheading Diverting Attention From Battles

There is fierce fighting in three cities and Americans are dying on a regular basis. The war is going TERRIBLY. Things were relatively peaceful in the aftermath of the initial takeover. But the Bush administration has TOTALLY BLOWN the occupation and transition. Before this is over, we are going to slaughter thousands more Iraqis and/or leave the country in turmoil.

Of course, most of us KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN before the first decapitation bombs were dropped in Bush's effort to murder Hussein.

One thing that either has not been reported, or I have missed it, just exactly why is Sadr organizing resistance? What is his beef (not that us just being there isn't enough)?

I don't think the American people have been informed what the deal is with Sadr. I hope someone can enlighten me.

The US went after him, so Sadr ordered his followers to fight them.
