Bush refused to kill or capture Berg's killer, Abu Musab Zarqawi, in 2002 because it would have weakened the case for invading Iraq:

This is the silver bullet to get Bush. For some reason it doesn't seem to get much interest.

I think all the conspiracy theories about the Berg murder are a conspiracy to cover up how Bush chose not to go after terrorism.

Bush hangs on to his power by creating fear and the providing illusion that he is protecting people. Fighting terrorism is his only issue. Bush's whole rationale for going to war in Iraq was to fight terrorism. If it can be shown that Bush secretly lets terrorists go for his own political purposes the man will be ruined.

Why would anybody want to say it wasn't Zarqawi and let him Bush off the hook on this one? Bush admits its Zarqawi. The tape claims its Zarqawi and there is a voice analysis.

2. This needs to be talked about!
The same way Sean Hannity continues to bring up the "Bin laden on a silver plater" story.

3. everything I hear from "U.S. sources" about Zarqawi...
I assume is B.S. I think there may be such a person by that name, and even that he was a terrorist, but that's about all I believe. I have the feeling he's long dead, and/or that his significance is wildly exaggerated.

Some Iraqis believe he's entirely fictional.

4. THere is NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE
That Al-Zarqawi had ANYTHING to do with Berg's death. NONE. Now, shoo!
