There is no way it will happen because we already have Wes Clark, a military hero who speaks for Democrats. McCain speaks for Repukes. Defends Bush. Always has. Always will.

We don't need no stinking FUSION Repuke VP.

So why is this floating in the media? Two possibilities.

1) Get McCain's name out there in preparation for a Presidential run after the GOP decides that a Bush resignation is in their best interests. And at the rate Bush is going down, with six months to go, that is a distinct possibility.

2) Attempt to gain some respectibility for Repukes running for reelection who see themselves being decimated in a Kerry landslide.

2. Your reasoning is confused.
Kerry mentions McCain in commercials.

Kerry mentions McCain on the stump all the time.

Joe Biden, Dem, pushed this idea on Meet the Press.

NY Times front page story yesterday, said Bob Kerrey & Bill Nelson of Fla., both Dems are pushing this.

This talk is not good for Repubs.

The Dems are using McCain to show that Kerry would be a moderate Prez & try to heal partisan divides.

I have seen hundreds of posts cursing McCain, & calling him every name under the sun.

McCain does not want to be ANYBDODY s Veep. He will not be 2nd banana.
And McCain in 4 yrs as Prez??? He is too old!!!!! No way.

So everybody, get off McCain s back, & get off the McCain story.

3.  McCain supports Bush. He has never even hinted otherwise.
Let McCain declare for Kerry. Then consider him. Not before.

This whole thing stinks. It is politics of the worst kind.

We have excellent Dem choices for VP. McCain can serve in the cabinet if asked.

This is ONE BIG DIRTY TRICK.

4. I support Wes Clark for Veep
I do NOT support McCain!

My point is, the McCain thing is being led by Dems.

Because they think it hurts Bush.

5. I've got a novel idea.
How about Dem's in a Dem cabinet? In case nobody has noticed, Republicans are singularly responsible for the waist-deep shit that America is standing in. Oh, and the Dem's that enable them.
