What about the GI's that blew the whistle
Edited on Sun May-16-04 11:10 PM by banana republican
reports are beginning to come out that a large number of GI's blew the whistle on the the prisoner torture problems months ago. Only to have the complaints dismissed as "being investigated".

I am *pissed off* that these people were ignored by the "chain of command" (including congressmen).

How do you Impeach a congressman for this??????

1. Fuck them.
As a liberal, I'm not allowed to support the troops. Even good ones. No troop supporter, me!

Or so I have been told:

Or something.

3. I am sorry to hear that pitt
I hope we can agree to disagee on this.

Most of the troops did not sign up for this mess. They signed up to "defend" the US not to attack in in an elective war.

the tendency for personal abuse and intimidation begin long before one arrives in Iraq.

I begins the day you are activated. The military is an expert in "reforming" onee attitude.

5. You missed the irony
The idea that I can't support American soldiers and be a liberal at the same time is bullshit.

I guess I didn't make my sarcasm clear.

4. Yes I have
as well as several others which seem to indicate that there have been *numerous* instances in which gi's have tried to blow the whistle and have been ignored.

The question is still on the table.
