about bush's numbers. Approval at 42%. Dissaprove handling on war on terror, 48% versus, 47% approval. Dissaprove handling of Iraq, 55%. There is nothing positive they can spin out of this.

I expect that Rush and Sean will be in denial overdrive today. Can't wait. :evilgrin:

I kept waiting for the promised "good news about low poll numbers". Evidently, even Bush-licking mediawhore Bill Snieder can't find anything "upbeat" about poll numbers in the 30's.

11. Kerry is only below 50% with Nader in the stew. He's 51% without..

Nader and 49% with Nader. Bush is at 46% reelect. There's no way to spin this poll towards bush.

Hell, Bill Snieder has given his play of the week to Rethugs consistently for months. Last week was Nancy Reagan for her "brave" remarks on stem cell research. This week will surely be Rumsfeld for his "brilliant move" in visiting Iraq.

13. I appreciate your skepticism, but....

I absolutely heard him use the word HOPE... something will turn this thing around. He said it with such enthusiasm it was not hard to miss. What actually happened is that he just realized what he had said, and then quickly stuck in the Osama part just to make it sound like something we ALL would hope for.

He just stuck his foot in it, and pulled out Bin Laden as a way to get himself out of it.

17. Do they transcript that part of the show?

Now I REALLY have to see what he said. I know I heard him say he hoped something would turn Bush's numbers around, realized what he did, then stuck Osama on as an "out"... but he really, really meant (and said) We all hope someting will turn this around..."

I will try to find the transcript. I hope they provide it. Anyone know?
