If they go after Kerry's daughters and step children. . .
. . .does that mean the Bush kids are in play? I noticed Drudge moved the story off to the right column when the sarin gas story broke, but he has since placed Kerry's daughter in the # spot again. The right will play their hands wrong on this. . .hopefully Kerry will not take the bait.

1. What did I miss this weekend?
What Soviet-style Strategy have the Imperial Psychometrists come up with now.

Accusations on insanity?

Fabrications and outright lies?

Or just the very common and oh-so-telling "we Busheviks are going to accuse everyone else of what we're doing." ?

You're going to make me venture over to the Lying Soviet Sewer Pit that is Drudge Report to see for myself.

Don't make me. I just took a shower and if I go there I'll have t swiftly take another.

2. Drudge did that because the Sarin story is a non-starter
the IRF (Iraqi Resistance Force) found some old Iran/Iraq war era chemical shells to use as an imporvised Explosive Device.

The chemicals weere just so much goo. There's no there there, sooooo, back to the boobie story.

3. Kerry's daughter went out IN PUBLIC at an event with a higher
concentration of photopgraphers and press than any other square mile on the globe at that moment.

Publishing that picture isn't "going after her."

In fact it helps Kerry. It's going to make a lot of people hope he gets elected so they can see more of that.

6. I sort of agree with you. . .
. . .I think it shows he has an attractive daughter with a fantastic body who went to Cannes, however we all know that Drudge's intent was to scandalize one of Kerry's children. I am sure the guys on the right will have some fun with it, but it could backfire on them as a lot of decent people will find the act of publishing the picture (which is not suitable for a family paper) not the outfit, to be disgraceful.

5. You must not have noticed
What they did to Clinton!

Not only will they go mercilessly after Kerry's children, wives, stepchildren, former girlfriends, parents and siblings.

They will also go after every one who ever gave Kerry a loan, every woman in every office he's ever worked at, every cousin of every distant relative he has.

They will work endlessly and tirelessly to discover something to destroy Kerry.

7. That is correct, they will work like Caesers trying to destroy their foes
The Busheviks will work like Lying Bolsheviks to do the same.

I agree. They will go after whoever whenever whereever.

Just like the Nazis wouldn't have hesitated to go after family.

Of course, OUR Bushevik Borwnshirts are much "kinder and gentler" than the originals in the 30s.

Robin said the same exact thing had happened to her once too. She said she had been sure the dress wasn't transparent. Kerry's daughter looks beautiful anyway, nothing to be embarrassed about.

9. Sorry, But Kerry Loses Nothing By Having Hot Children
In fact, it is a big boost, especially considering they are intelligent, ambitious young adults. The more Kerry's family is high-beamed - I mean highlighted - the better it is for our chances of a damn good man changing the course of the century.

12. First of all, the paper that printed the pic
First of all, the tabloid that printed the picture of Alexandra Kerry looks like the type that would "doctor" the picture to make it seem more risque. Anything to sell papers.

Second, regarding the Bush Twins, their father has exhibited once again what a family man he is by skipping both of their graduations. He can find all kinds of time for fundraisers, has a slogan to leave no child behind, yet he leaves his own.

This is right up there with his leaving town to go fishing in Florida when Jenna had an emergency Appendectomy on Christmas night 2000.

What a Dad!

He did make a comment like, "In the meantime, the Bush girls were busy somewhere else getting drunk".

16. She didn't appear to be on the floor

The dress is certainly not one I would pick for my daughter to wear.
However, she is grown and she is beautiful.

I don't think the Bush family will want to go after her-those Girl's Gone Wild Photos with the twins on the floor drunk in the bars would not be pleasant.
Alexandra, from the picture that I saw, was standing upright and elegant.

18. if you recall ...
Jenna's boobies were popping out of her dress at the Inaugural Ball. George was trying to dance with her, on camera, while the girl was tugging on the top of her dress -- looking like she was saying, "DAD! Can't you see my dress is falling down? Go dance with Barbara!" (Why Laura didn't tell that girl to "test her dress" before going out in front of the national media, I have no idea. That's Womanhood 101 -- you ALWAYS test your dress!)

It's just tit for tat in politics.

A high powered camera flash will make some fabrics see-thru. It has happened many, many times before.

40. It happened to me.
It's funny now, many years later. Not so funny then, and the pictures passed around. The dress was not see-through in artificial light, nor day light. In a darkened environment with bright camera flashes, shit. I didn't even know it when it was happening because (duh) the flash is fast.

Those pictures showed everything not covered by undergarments, and even then my navel and my hair were visible.

So all y'all, get off her case. I mean this respectfully.

23. Interesting... just this weekend saw a bit with Lisa Rinna (sp)
who drew controversy when she (very pregnant) showed up at an awards ceremony in a dress that was very see through. She claims to still be terribly embarrassed - as when she tried on the dress it didn't appear to be see-through - it was only in the flash of the cameras that the light penetrated the dress .. she had no idea until after the fact. Ten to one that is the same scenario here.

42. Doesn't that picture look photoshopped to anybody but me??
The drastic line where the dress meets her arm, and the bottom of the picture where the dress ends, just doesn't look right. And it looks like there's a white line edging the dress where it contrasts to her body.

Sorry. It just looks a little like a "cut-out" to me. It did when I first saw it, and it still does.

43. Bright lights can make ordinarily opaque fabrics transparent.
Remember the sun through Lady Di's skirt when she got engaged to Prince Charles? It made her legs appear through the light fabric. I will be interested in knowing if she knew ahead of time that the fabric was translucent.

44. Just tossing this out because it's been going through my mind for
many weeks now (and this picture reminded me of it). I think that after all the doom and gloom of the last three and a half years and the occupying of the White House by the Clampetts from the Texas pig farm, that America is ready to have style and spice back in the house that is our showcase to the world. Remember the elegant dinners of JFK when hosting foreign dignataries?? Remember Laura and Clem Clodhopper being entertained by the Queen at a state dinner----Laura looked like she had on a dress from a goddamn 1960's wedding I was once in and then put on the gloves that topped off the outfit and made her look like she cleaned fish for a living!!! Repukes better watch it....I think America is getting tired of ugly Church Ladies!!!!!! And I think retailers want "style" back.

48. Laura Said"Girl's Campaigning"
Edited on Tue May-18-04 08:55 AM by goclark

I heard Pickles say on CSPAN that her "Girl's Gone Wild" may campaign for their father this time. The first time I heard her talk about it she made it sound as if they would be on the campaign trail, that was about 2 months ago.Last week, she changed her story to say the girls may work in the campaign office for their father.

I see that as an indication that they wish to be photographed and talked about, that makes them fair game in my eyes.

I don't think they want to put the Kerry Kids and the Bush kids side by side. Not a good idea for Jenna and Barbara.
