23. $3.00 a gallon by summer, Prince Bandar to the rescue
Now that we know Riggs Bank, CEO Jonathan Bush, laundered the terrorist money for 911 into America, they don't even bother to hide their corrupation do they?

8. He'll be called on it.
If the seasonal price cycle starts to bring prices down in the fall, and if only THEN Bush decides to open up the reserves as his October surprise, you're going to see all hell break loose.

No one is going to fall for it.

18. Nope ...

He's driving up prices. So the only thing he has to do is stop buying and release the reserve before the election.

Once again, Bush is losing BILLIONS on oil deals.

16. It's that famous Bush business acumen
Responsible for his 'success' at Arbusto, Spectrum 7 and trading Sammy Sosa away.

And as you can see, he's applied it to both the US economy and the federal budget as well.

5. One of the biggest reasons...
Oil prices are so high. All of this is being pulled of the market and getting pumped into salt domes.

Market manipulation and corporate welfare in one swell foop.

Edited on Mon May-17-04 04:19 PM by wryter2000
Not only is he buying gas when it's expensive, but taking that gas off the market will drive the prices higher at the pump. Maybe the a-hole doesn't want to get "re-elected."

14. No no no
Didn't you hear? Buying all this gas is going to help the prices go DOWN. That's the spin he's giving. And the sad part is that a lot of Americans will believe him.

:dunce:

9. I'm surprised * didn't fill the tanks before 9/11...
Or, if they had been filled, who drained 'em? And why? NASCAR?

I don't know. This could be more lies surrounding peak oil too. Assuming peak oil isn't a hoax. We all know that "no more oil", when it happens, means the end - period. Peak oil is at least up for debate.

12. the dirty son of a bitch! I knew he was doing this but ...
the arrogance and incompetence demonstrated by this is fucking OUTRAGEOUS!

Remember this: Clinton had no energy policy.

Horseshit! $15/brl and 90 cent gas is plenty of policy compared to these rat bastards.

22. They don't care whether or not another 911 is coming...
...that's just scare talk to keep the sheeple all nervous and agitated. The NeoCons are really getting ready for another year of military campaigning in new countries like Iran and Syria once the rigged election is over.

17. How do we know the oil purchased for the reserve
is going into the ground. Is there some kind of fuel guage in a shack?

Seems like *Bush has been filling the 'reserve' a lot this year.

For all we know it could be bought, diverted and resold/rebought.
