BushInc says Hersh committed malpractice - Will they sue him for slander?
Did the Repubs who claimed Clarke committed perjury in his testimony file charges?

Didn't Richard Perle threaten to sue Hersh last year for slander?

Certainly no Republican wants these men to go unpunished for such serious allegations....why aren't they filing charges?

1. They'd have to prove it
in court and they the only proof they have is that he's right.

2. They will never sue.
If they sue, they open themselves up for discovery. They know full well that they could never withstand that. The shit on them would flow.

6. I've read some
articles that could rightfully be called journalistic malpractice..they were written so poorly it was hard to read them.

10. LOL
Me, too. But as a legal term.

If you could be sued for bad writing, I'd probably be in hock for a couple of my books by now. :)

7. That's interesting. I looked up the definition of malpractice
it seemed to me that that term is usually used in reference to Doctors and Lawyers. Well, the definitions don't exclude others, but they do state "usually used in reference to Doctors, Lawyers and engineers.

What's with BushInc? Wouldn't slander, or liable have been more appropriate?

Must have come directly from Georgie, he's never very good with the English language.

9. Good point. Maybe they didn't SAY slander because they knew their
supporters would expect some ACTUAL legal follow through.

11. Did you ever see anyone file more frivolous lawsuits than the GOP hacks?
If they think they can control the media they SUE for anything. How many times did they try to sue Clinton?
