because the US has the receipts for the sale.......he just didn't have them when we went to war.

If that many people believe there were no WMD's it means fewer will buy it if Bush plants them.

the fact that he sure had them at one time, and the question is phrased in such a way to not distinguish between, say, the 1980's and NOW.

What fricking time frame are we talking about?

OF COURSE HE POSSESSED WMDs. There is no dispute that Saddam
had chemical weapons in the past (pre GW1), after all, WE sold
him the makings. There is little dispute that he used them against
Iran. There is little dispute that he was working on biological
weapons (again, we provided him with all sorts of bugs and nasty
stuff for RESEARCH).

So the question should be

Do you believe that Saddam had large stockpiles of WMDs in the time
leading up to GW2? Or even the manufacturing capability to create
a large stockpile of WMDs?

(No, and no... and we were lied to by our leadership about this)

No crappy little old "binary" warhead used as a roadside bomb,
probably with out of date (or newly made but ineffective)
Sarin gas is going to change the fact that Saddam didn't possess
a stockpile of WMDs and was just waiting for the chance to donate
them to Al Quiada for use against the Great Satan.

We all know that he did possess them at one time because we sold them to him. But did he still have them before we invaded Iraq?
