They're making a mockery of sodomy in Massachusetts today. I bet some of those boys aren't even anus intactus.

Reply 17 - Posted by: Jethro bo, 5/17/2004 8:23:57 AM

The will of the people? How about the will of 4 Mass Supreme court megalomaniacs! So now the US of A will have a new social order based on the decision of 4 people in the State of Mass.

It is pass time for the legislative branches of government to perform their duty to check and balance the Courts. Impeach, Impeach, Impeach.

Righteousness exalts a nation, but, sin is a reproach to any people.

Throughout the world up until the current time, homosexuals did not want to marry -- it is a promiscuous lifestyle. Even so-called committed couples put up with 8 or so dalliances by his/her partner per year. This is not marriage, this is a sham.

Yahweh will surely judge us as a nation for permitting this abomination in His sight.

Reply 23 - Posted by: R. Edgar , 5/17/2004 9:30:42 AM

...And the open mockery of the institution of Marriage continues apace.

Advocates of this develeopment see this as an affirmation rather than defilement.

I suppose this could be true, if you also believe that adorning a potrait of the Virgin Mary with dung somehow ennobles Christianity.

No civilization has survived this sort of decadence, so nobody should kid themeselves that things will turn out differently this time.

I say again...Are the voters of Massachusetts nuts or just commies? SAT CONG

Can't wait to see the wedding photos. The God hating traitors in the democrat party will lose many votes to George Bush in Nov.

Per #15, the two biggest problems here are pedophila, a major homosexual male agenda item (it's awful, as my Scoutmaster molested other Boy Scouts when I was a kid) and incest (homosexual, natch).

Once the morality wall is legally breached, as has happened with gay "marriage", there is a big problem. Sexual boundaries then fall, as do moral strictures. Anything goes, any time. The ultimate denouement is a total homogenization of sexual identity. No more separate bathrooms or locker rooms. That'd be fun for hetrosexuals, for while.

However, a major element of heterosexual appeal is mystery and allure. Neither mystery nor allure are part of the gay or lesbian "lifestyle." Far from it.

Reply 30 - Posted by: jleev, 5/17/2004 10:49:03 AM

Why don't all the gay people just move to Massachusetts and we can corden it off. Ok by me.

Reply 31 - Posted by: benny1234, 5/17/2004 10:51:11 AM

Just a curiosity, but I wonder what "vows" these homosexuals pledge to each other?

Do they pledge under God to "love, honor, cherish and obey, forsaking all others, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part"?

Naw... I didn't think so....

Reply 34 - Posted by: Talk2, 5/17/2004 11:00:06 AM

Has any civilization wallowing in homosexuality ever lasted?

Why, if homosexuality is not a choice, did the Greeks give up rampant homosexuality and pedophilia?

Why, if homosexuality is in the genes, have the Greeks not passed this hideous gene on to their offspring?

How did homosexuals manage to get into such a position of political power in liberal California and the liberal northeast?

Reply 37 - Posted by: Katie Corrupt, 5/17/2004 11:35:40 AM

Marcia and Susan,
Will you love her? Correction: Will you lust after her?
Honor her, comfort her, and keep her in sickness and in health? Fact: the average homosexual couple stays together eighteen months.
Forsaking all others, be true to her as long as you both shall live? Fact: the average homosexual has 8 different sex partners in one year.

We have a serious systemic problem with imperial judiciaries. Something must be done to restore democracy in the USA!

Reply 40 - Posted by: wildmteacher, 5/17/2004 11:55:05 AM

Shortly after the first photos of Abu Ghraib were released, I heard someone say that the stuff going on there would be called courting in Massachusetts.

Reply 41 - Posted by: log cabin preacher, 5/17/2004 1:09:08 PM

This post disgusts me. The self-righteous who THINK they know what God wants are having a field day here.

God loves us all. Gay or straight. God IS love. And he requires us to love our brother.

What has been written here is FAR from love.

Let God do the judging. I highly doubt you're perfect.

I know I'll get slammed here for speaking this.

Just so you know, there are tons of gay Christians who are preparing the foundation for revival. God is moving in ways never seen before.

Get ready.

Luke 6:22

Reply 43 - Posted by: Annie Colorado, 5/17/2004 1:41:06 PM

I believe we must pass a federal law to uphold marriage as only between a man and a woman. The homosexuals may still have a civil contract if they wish, just talk to an attorney. Stop making it sound as though all people hate homosexuals, I doubt anyone on this site does, it is simply a matter of allowing us to keep the sanctity of marriage in tact.

Reply 46 - Posted by: Luke, 5/17/2004 1:58:52 PM

OH Goody! Now they won't have to live in Sin now that they are married! God will be the final judge of this. If this was normal, we would have seen this happen in biblical days. No wonder the world is turning their backs on the US.

Reply 55 - Posted by: jkstewart2, 5/17/2004 3:16:56 PM

"Gay people are human beings too" what a STUPID justification for human behavior. Under that justification you could excuse any behavior.

Frankly, I am disgusted by the court in MA making laws. It reminds me of the quacks in Florida trying to make algore President. The Homo's couldn't win an election, so they don't try, just get their quack judges to issue fiats. Where's the outrage????

AND, I'm against gay marriage. Marriage is about supporting children not getting health insurance for your artistic significant other.... FURTHERMORE the homo lifestyle that I know, is one that is centered in the libertine promiscous San Fran society. Certainly, an abomination to any civilized individual.

Reply 57 - Posted by: Luke, 5/17/2004 3:21:44 PM

They may look like humans and talk like humans, but they certainly do inhuman things to gratify their urges for sex. There is no way that you can tell me that anal sex is normal!

Reply 58 - Posted by: PraiseAnne, 5/17/2004 3:34:22 PM

I am the adoptive mother of a 'gaie' man, who was seduced by a predator at age 14, he is now 35. He was raised in a Christian home, and has rejected his Christian upbringing. #41 quoted scripture ignoring the fact that God is a Holy God, and cannot look upon sin. It doesn't matter if the sin is hetero or homosexual, sin is sin!!

Reply 60 - Posted by: Truthful, 5/17/2004 3:58:30 PM

Homosexuals "will" go to hell, unless they repent of their sin, and are converted to Jesus Christ. Just like any other sinner.
A Christian homosexual is an oxymoron. (with and emphasis on the moron.)

Reply 64 - Posted by: steveW, 5/17/2004 4:57:53 PM

Without a groundswell of outrage from grassroots America - and soon! - the family as we know it will be a thing of the past. This situation will not be repaired by a handfull of Republicans on the hill, nor by the president. It is up to every American to save the family and draw the line about the usurpation of our rights by judicial tyrants.

Reply 70 - Posted by: log cabin preacher, 5/17/2004 6:37:06 PM

Remember when Bush quoted Matthew 7 about being judgmental to gays? Why is it that you all are so willing to follow him wherever he goes, yet you fail to take his BIBLICAL advice?

These posts make me so honored to do what I do. Gay men and women everywhere are learning that God does in fact love them. Just because you all threw them out of a church does not mean God loves them any less. What it DOES mean is that you need to read your Bible and look up UNCONDITIONAL love.

The posts I see here makes me wonder how many gays gave up their salvation due to their no longer believing Jesus loves them because of judgmental Christians like those here. We will all be judged by Him. I wouldn't want responsibility for THAT on my record.

And you wonder why people hate Christians.

2. I have a question that's been bugging me.
Can this happen?

You are gay, you know you are gay, you are not happy about being gay. You attack gay marriage because of it.

I think a wingnut anti gay marriage person is like this but maybe it isn't possible.

4. Want to Know Why...
Because they now have to face reality that there is nothing special about "Leave It To Beaver" and that Pleasantville doesn't exist. That and a serious case of Homophobia. The only ones mentally unstable are all those who were opposed to gay marriage. Now we all know who they are. They have been exposed. Time to point the finger back at them and laugh. Humility works wonders.

6. What an ill-informed bunch of neaderthalls...
..."even committed couples put up with 7-8 daliances a year"

My mother and her partner have been together for 24 years. One had a brief affair IN THE EARLY 80s when they had a rocky bit, when Dubya was still doing coke and banging underage girls. 7-8 a year?!?! Hell, these idiots live in a fantasy world of their own making. And have the examined the stats on heterosexuals, and what THEY are doing to the sanctity of marriage? GGGARRGGGH!!!

8. the right wing in a meltdown over gay marriage
are the same ones who support men raping men at Abu Ghraib as a "harmless frat boy prank". They are offended by gay sex if they love each other, but support it when it is part of torture.

are worried about. These bible toting screwballs and racists live in fear all their lives worrying so much about other people. I tell you what. I am an elementary school teacher of third graders and what I tell them all the time is my same message to this miscreants. Worry about yourself; not what other people are doing.

10. All this ranting and still...
Edited on Mon May-17-04 07:03 PM by DarkPhenyx
...nobody has said anything about how Homosexual marraige will destroy the American family.

"Fact: the average homosexual couple stays together eighteen months. "

Question: How long does the average hetro relationship last? Mine last less than a year on average. My marriage only made it three.

"Fact: the average homosexual has 8 different sex partners in one year. "

Fact: The average single Het-male would call that a good year. Many of the Het-females too.

I can't even begin to address the rest of the crap posted. Disinformation, rhetoric, and hyperbole. Still nothign telling us why it will destroy the American Family.

11. John Kerry, The Boston Red Sox, and gay marriage...
I wanted to take the opportunity in my first post here to say that I am proud to have been born and raised in a place where there are people in positions of authority willing to take risks for equal rights, where there's so much passion and devotion to the hometown team of America's pastime, and where THE MAN Kerry calls home....
