I would LOVE to hear about bulk ticket sales for Farenheit 9/11
Just like with the Passion of the Christ.We had Texas business owners buying up advance tickets.Churches.Old lady's spending their life savings to make sure this moive got out.WOuldn't it be great if some of Hollywood or any other rich liberals could do the same for Farenheit 9/11?

1. um, no--it wouldn't be great
It makes it look (and rightly so) as if no one actually wants to come out and see the movie. Looks much better to have good box office made up of legit moviegoers.

I predict that if it gets widespread release in July 2004, it will get the biggest gross of any documentary ever, (with or without bulk ticket purchases).

3. You're right, and
it will also get the biggest protests of any film, ever. I plan on seeing it in a theater in a right wing city (probably Colorado Springs) just so I can yell at the fascist idiots trying to tell me what I can and cannot watch. I can't wait.

5. just to goose things along a bit, we should call our local theaters . . .
and ask them when they'll be showing Farenheit 911 . . . if they start getting a lot of calls, they'll undoubtedly start inquiring about it . . . they do, after all, want to make money . . .
