Computer experts?
I reset my settings on Internet Explorer 6 and all internet picture are blurry. Computer pics are fine. What did I do?

Click on my computer
Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs
Highlight Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
Click Add/Remove
Then click Restore The Previous Windows Configuration

6. Go to internet options
then the "advanced" tab

make sure "automatic image resizing" is disabled
and that "smart image dithering" is on

7. That is what I don't understand...
I have it that way now and they are still very blurry. You know like the crappyest digital camera image you have ever seen.

8. this weird
just to satisfy me right click on the desktop and choose properties tell me what the screen res is maybe we can change it, reboot change it to a higher res reboot again. It may toggle something in the registry and 'fix itself'

9. AOL?
AOL fetches compressed cached images from their servers instead of the web. They're invariably crappy. If you're using AOL, you oughta look for a "turn off compression" or somesuch option.

12. No, local ISP, looked for some type of compression on..
Internet explorer but none there. Jesus, I know quite a lot about computers and I can't fix such a simple problem.

The little Icon in the left hand corner of the image space before it opens the image isn't what it was before, I don't think...

20. Try This!!
Open Internet options, click on Advance Tab, then scroll down to Multimedia, see whats check, make sure all is checked with the exceptions of two DON'T DISPLAY ON LINE MEDIA CONTENT IN THE MEDIA BAR and SHOW IMAGE DOWNLOAD PLACEHOLDERS these should be unchecked. try this and let me know

31. Are you running any sort of spyware killer?
Sounds like you picked up some shit. Did you install any programs immediately before you noticed the problem?
