Freeper acquaintance too confident they will win in November....
It's spookie how certain he is of this, like he knows something is going to happen between now and November.... :scared:

14. You have to understand
For many of the GOP faithful, G.W. was supposed to be the second coming of Ronald Reagan. And Reagan's face should be carved into Mt. Rushmore. They all though that at this point Iraq would already have McDonald's and plotting out Arab Disney.

These guy's actually thought Liberalism was dead and no Democrat ever had any chance of taking over the White House. They're dream is dying right before they're eyes and they just cannot accept it.

3. You should laugh in his face whenever he says it
His certainty is nothing more than a refrain that helps him keep it together. He knows Bush is faltering very badly, so he's showing strength. Fucker's holding 2-7 with three face cards on the board. he's got nuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttiiiiiiinnnn. :-)

6. He's not very good at math, is he?
The numbers don't hold for Bush. He is going down.

7. What can you say or do to shake that "confidence"?
Because it is a confidence not born out by the polls or by numbers or by recent press reports or the terrible things happening in Iraq??? Is it confidence or just a false bravado?

9. Actually I am laughing all the way, the more confident he is, the better
off we'll be. His confidence does scare me though as he is one who is involved with the local Republican movement.

8. Sure he does
He knows that his side will resort to any amount of deceit, intimidation, violence, and scumfuckery to get what it wants. And that's okay with him. It would do well for us to remember what we're dealing with and not be caught flatfooted for the bazillionth time.

13. ATTENTION!!! 2000 was a coup.
Not a contested election. Not a close election. Not a controversial election. Not even a corrupted election.

It was a right wing coup.

The paradigm has shifted.

Do you really think the military-industrial-oil-corporate complex will subject their total control over the US (and now the second largest oil reserves on planet earth) to the vagaries of the democratic process?

I don't.

The fix is in. They don't need a terrorist event or a new war or a national emergency to sway voters before November. Voters don't matter anymore. They control the technology of the election, which is now completely free from objective authentication. They control the media, which will call the horse race like it was the Super Bowl, except without the tits at half time.

Most Murkans will comply with whatever they are told--and that will not be that John Kerry was elected as the new President of the United States.
