BREAKING: Sivitz sentenced to a year and demoted to private
Yep, this was a plea cop. Shut your mouth and you'll only get a year. Talk, and it's a war crime that could get you twenty.

The coverup continues.

1. it's soooooooo obvious
and as soon as the 7 bad apples are all squared away, they'll say case closed and pretend it wasn't official policy to torture.

and the others may fight the charges instead of copping.

2. yesterday i watched kimmit stand in front of all
and boldly told press how good military was and wants everyone to know so watch the trial, that is why they are in the open so people can see and the press and world can see the trial and see what this was about

this alone tells me there is a game, scam in all this if kimmit stands and yells for people to watch. an instinct of look at opposite of these people,. they say look here for answer makes me want to look elsewhere for the answer

3. A year was the maximum sentence for the Special Court-martial
In other words they threw the book at Sivita for taking the pictures one night. He was also reduced to Private.

An AP story reported:
Nine Arab newspapers and the prominent Arab television networks Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya are among 34 news organizations being allowed to have reporters in the courtroom. No audio or TV recordings will be allowed in the courtroom, however.

On Wednesday, Human Rights Watch said that U.S. occupation authorities have refused to allow Iraqi and international human rights groups to attend the court martial.

"Barring human rights monitors from the court martial is a bad decision in its own right," Sarah Leah Whitson, executive director of Human Rights Watch Middle East and North Africa division, said in a statement. "It also sends a terrible signal to Iraqis and others deeply concerned about what transpired in Abu Ghraib."

<sarcasm>This surely will show the World US "justice." </sarcasm>

Sorry, no link to the story
