I received an e-mail from Howard Dean today asking for money for Kerry

I received one from one of Kerry's staff yesterday. I have already donated several times to Kerry but never to Dean. I was surprized to find I was on Deans infamous e-mail list that he and Kerry have been battling about. Anyone else getting Dean's e-mail? It is time for us all to "Shit or get off the pot" when it comes to donating. Democracy needs our help. America needs our help. Kerry needs our help. Please donate, even if it is only the same amount you would spend on a pack of smokes. We must defeat the fascists now or we will be stuck forever.

Of course I have been on Dean's list since the beginning. It could be that Kerry gave out his email list for Dean to help him out.

I breezed through one of the websites-that-cannot-be-named-here and there is a fair amount of discussion about this. It appears that there are quite a few people who prefer not to give directly to Kerry, but rather give to Dean to give to Kerry to make some kind of point. Dean's organization still has some prodigious fundraising ability.

They really like that bat.
