I read the news today. . . oh, boy. . .

I read the news today (inadequate medium, no soul for the just nor justice for the soulless), helicopter gunships blew an Iraqi wedding party apart, cut down 40 (or was it 20, or do we only believe those sources that give aid and comfort to our guilt and shame?), most of them children... and women... and others. If they were Vietnamese, and they ran, we'd know who's side they were on. We know it now, of course: they were on the wrong side of the guns.

There's film of the carnage. That seems to be the defining feature of these days: pictures... sometimes film... illuminating our descent into madness. They say (and I've seen neither "they" nor the film, so I can only report what I've heard -- inadequate medium, to be sure), but they tell me one of the children was beheaded by the gunship. And it seems like only last week there were so many so incensed at another human's similar loss. But who will express outrage this evening, who will seek out this new warnography on the web... downloaded (as so many did last week) for the guilty pleasure of feeling righteous?

He also said that we value human life.

Are we living a nightmare with this man or what?

This is yet another good way to win the heart and souls of the Iraqis.

and did you see all those "terrorist" little children being carried after being blown to bits by an Israeli strike this morning?

Yea, Israel is really protecting itself from these 10 year olds.

America is on high moral ground and the brown-skinned people are soulless.

As a result we can say and do whatever we please. They look different and eat strange food and that makes them evil. A few rockets, missiles, or 20mm rounds fired into crowds of civilians is nothing to get riled up about.

And by the way - the 10 year old in the crowd today was likely a future terrorist. Look at it as an investment in the future of democracy.

I'm an observer as people enter the Pearly Gates - because I'm one of the people who did not want blood on my hands and fought for the little people and cared and helped others and gave of myself completely - and considered all humans equal in the eyes of their Creator

and I hope that God will not get too pissed at me for laughing at all the Kristian Republicans who voted for and love GWB - trying to explain to God how come they thought it was okay to blow up "some" of his children, the brown ones at least, off the face of the earth.....

And God saying - you got way too much work to do, I can't let you in - and sends them to the Heavenly Mental Ward Hospital until they can remove the hate from their hearts. And the kicker: God is "brown".
