Do any of you ever feel like Teresa might be a liability for Kerry?
I don't really know much about her, but it seems like every week I read some quote of hers like this:

"Ted is a Bubbling Irishmen and John is not that, but you cant have two bubbles or you'll be really wet"

or

"Trickle-down economics is when people who don't want to, get wet".

so i look at her with apprehension.

2. Some people look at what is important: her charity work where people call
her "Mother Theresa"
She is an independent, beautiful woman with her own mind. If people cannot recognize these qualities, they probably would reject ANY wife that John Kerry could have for reasons for their own.

9. She's intelligent, so yes, she might be a liability.
We all know how well intelligence went over when Hillary was first lady.

Republicans like their first ladies quiet and smiling and baking cookies.

But, IMO, fuck them. I think Teresa will be great!

a liability for what she says. She's smart, but down to earth. Her own person.

16. I'll worry about that when they put her on the ticket
otherwise, who cares? She seems to be a very nice, well read, and politically aware person. Those are qualities I doubt in Laura--

(not that it's even relevant)

But I'm sure there are many with bad intent out there that are eager to portray and exploit anything she does as a misstep or worse. I am ashamed of what we have become.

19. Yes, if it were 2000
I think she's a little overrated and Nancy-Reaganesque, to be honest.

But I honestly don't believe she will be a liability in this 2004 race. This race is only about one thing: Bush.

The main reason I wanted Kerry to be the nominee from the getgo was that it was essential for Democrats to not make this election about themselves, which is precisely what would have happened if Dean got the nomination. Kerry has an impressive resume and is a 'safe' choice for those fed up with Bush.

21. She's been an asset on the campaign trail
She's very well liked when she speaks to audiences. I suspect that some qoute will hit the media and all the talking heads will chastise her. Any smart, strong Dem woman gets the same treatment. She seems to help focus Kerry and they seem to love each other. I think she's great.

to have in a first lady. everyone's entitled to their opinions. but NO ONE is perfect. the repukes will bitch at mother theresa if she was a democrat. so, i'm not too concerned what the damn repukes think or not think.

35. So get EDUCATED about her. She kicks ass and takes NAMES.
her life story is fascinating, her life work is inspiring, her attitude disarming and enchanting, while being forthright, up-front and straight forward.

She ROCKS. How can you have ANY reservations about her?

Please, by all means, go the http://www.johnkerry.com and read FOR YOURSELF about her.

As an AMERICAN you are obligated to be genuinely informed, and not by commercials paid for by george bush.

Only to those who can't handle an educated, attractive, vibrant,
