Camp Redemption???
Did anybody else hear Randi Rhodes say that Abu Graib's name has officially be changed to Camp Redemption? Have you seen this news anywhere else? Randi didn't cite a source.

2. "Unless they are returning bottles, it's a religious term" Conason
This was discussed last week on Franken's show - possibly a Boykin contribution - extremely offensive to muslims (Christ - the redeemer). Remember "Operation Infinite Justice?"

4. What a Great Name
Yes, the world should know that our torture and murder is not like Saddams. Ours is Christian and therefore OK. I hope that they erect giant crosses all around it.

8. I heard that too. A fitting name for the Crusaders' prison.
They should just plant a huge old white cross there and make the picture complete!

9. The tented section
I think Camp Redemption refers to the huge tent facility outside and not the main building

12. What conflict lol
It's just like in the Berg case... Detained by the US military vs the Iraqi police ;) Same difference as they say in the South.

Thanks for pulling those together.

Camp Redemption. Sheesh. You have to wonder where the boys are getting these names!

11. Have not seen this on TV yet.
Must be from the DOD name dept. Maybe the Jesus General? The nuts on the Right will love it and the people in the Middle East will be sure we are trying to win their minds and hearts. Lets get Rice over their to tell them. Madness in the only thing I hear from this group running our govt.
