Good point, Randi.
She said Kerry should stand in front of pictures of the prison abuse and say "this will not happen when I am president"

I think Kerry needs to say a lot of things that are not acceptable in the USA that we thought we had and not acceptable in the world period.

He should be mad as hell at what these animals are doing to this country and the world.
I am.

1. Who would cover it?
Edited on Wed May-19-04 06:08 PM by KissMyAsscroft
CNN would probably show it at 2 in the morning.

3. Interesting that you say he "should" bemad as hell
there is something definately surreal about Kerry's campaign'

Bush is going down. He is vulnerable. Many pukes are turning against him--it is the oppotune time to take the initiative.

What is wrong with Kerry? I want more than this crappy wishy, washy, none candidate rhetoric.

I want someone to be a leader. Kerry is being a follower--following behind Bush's gaffs--but, in the background waiting for Bush to make a gaff, instead of taking the initiative.

Not my idea of a leader.

4. Five and 1/2 months to go 50/50 with and incumbant who. . .
was described as unbeatable last year. Consider that Kerry may just be "saving his powder." That is my hope.

5. What do you expect from a Democrat?

I'm voting for Kerry, but I know better than to expect very much from a Democratic president. Mostly I expect them not to make things worse, to try, or at least give the appearance of trying to make things a bit better, and not to get assassinated. In this fascist police state those three things alone are tough enough to achieve.

Now if we had a genuine democracy, proportional, publicly-funded elections, and corporations didn't have more Constitutional rights and pay less in taxes than people, I'd be able to vote Green. But I'm not going to live long enough to see it happen.
