Kerry's numbers should come out later tonight. Not sure about you guys, but I'm pleasantly surprised BushCo. only has $70m on hand. At this rate (thanks to Howard Dean) Kerry can be competitive now. Who would have ever thought.

13. Fine. He can spend all he wants in California. Won't get him anywhere.
He should just do for us what he's done so far - put us on "ignore." He won't. Probably thinks with Arnold around, he's got a fighting chance. He's wrong. AGAIN.

Meanwhile, let him spend his campaign money like a drunken sailor. It's characteristic of the way he's spending ALL OUR COUNTRY'S MONEY. Probably the way he managed his three oil companies, too. What else can you expect? Obscenely wild spending - nothing much to show for it. Just part of the pattern.

4. I'm pleasantly surprised, too, Bush has only about $70 million
That means he's spent almost two-thirds of what he's raised. Do you have any idea what Kerry's cash on hand will be? $50 million maybe?

12. The Kerry campaign has a big ad buy this month - $25 mill, I believe
The cash on hand figure would be from the end of April, so I'm very curious. Even $40 mill would be good, because that would mean Bush's advantage was now less than 2-1 after it was once 50-1.

10. I don't know how they can continue to throw money on the stinking pile
GWB has going.

Why finance the titanic after it sank?

On second thought, NeoCons, Repubs, and Nazis will continue to throw money @ him cuz he is their last hope.

11. So TX, VA, and NJ are the only states among his biggest supporters who
gave more to him in April (as a % of total) than gave to him proportionally overall.

So many of his big states either maxed out early, or they're getting less enthusiastic about throwing money at him as time passes?

It is amazing the Bush has spent so much money (so much more than he got in) and has so little to show for it.
