Some good stuff for discussion in this US News report. Do you think the Bushies are getting arrogant here? Personally just for this I'd love to see Dean or any Dem whup their boy's butt.Waiting For Kerry
President Bush and his political staff don't buy the hype on Democratic presidential primary front-runner Howard Dean. "I'd be surprised if
Kerry doesn't surge soon," says an insider. In fact, many Bush aides expect Dean to fade and Kerry to take the nomination. There's another faction that doesn't think a Washington insider can get it, leaving Dean as the likely victor. But there is something both sides agree on. "They all sound like jerks," says a Bushie.

Also from same whispers column. I believe Nader would've pushed for stronger doors - course the whiny airlines and the tombstone FAA would've blocked it and 9-11 may have happened anyway. Course I think Nader or Gore would've paid a heckuva lot more attention to the warnings.
Nader's 9/11 Plan
Get a load of this: Likely 2004 third-party presidential hopeful Ralph Nader thinks the 9/11 terrorist attacks wouldn't have happened if he had been president. He claims that amid all the big decisions new presidents have to make after inauguration, he would have ordered cockpit doors to be hardened against attack. He says an old report warning about how easy it is to get in the cockpit still sticks with him. What's more, he would have wiped out Osama bin Laden and his gang without a shot being fired. How? Bribe Osama's friends to hand him over.
