What is your favorite political term?
Mine is filibuster. It has been since eighth grade. I'm looking for a new favorite, but can't come up with a really great new one. Chickenhawk is gaining ground, but too popular for my tastes

3. This year it is impeachment!
:)

I really shouldn't joke like that with everything Clinton went through, but I can dream, right?

5. "The American People"
It's my favorite term to hate. Whenever a politician starts a phrase with "the American people" you can anticipate a totally self-serving load of bull will usually follow.

Makes me want to :puke: - Like we are all some amorphous group of Borg without individual thoughts or opinions.

15. How about...
Quid Pro Quo? I know it's really a legal term, but I always like to watch people try to say it fast :)

Other favorites:

Whip
Grass-roots
Quorum

Although I always get a little chuckle when * says:

Evil Doers
Abhorrent
Thugs
War on Terra

I keep waiting for hooligans.

16. Technically not a political term
but I've grown rather fond of the term 'obfuscation' of late. It describes the Bush administration since taking office, with Cheney's refusal to make public the records of the 'energy task force' as the opening round in a policy of obfuscation.
