3. Window dressing.
Gilding the lily. No meaning in reality. PR ploy.

4. What exactly are you worried about?
I desperately hope the Iraqis can pull it together soon, but sadly * has destroyed their society and political structure for many years to come. We need a real world leader in the White House, aka John Kerry, to get US and the poor Iraqis out of this * engineered quagmire.

6. I'm personally not afraid
I know it's just a ball of pure, unadulterated crap. But the sheeple will not, and that will bump *'s poll numbers.

8. Sheeple?
I thought that term died out a while back. Americans are not stupid. They are seeing the emperor's nudity. They have been fooled so far, but they are waking up.

No fear, mate. Help is on the way. Kerry will win, it's just a question of whether he defeats W, Cheney, or Hastert. Personally, I'm hoping Nader comes in second, and whatever traitor the Republicans put up comes in third.

10. Pictures tell the story, not his words.
He can say whatever he wants, but if it doesn't look like a safe and secure environment, it isn't. How many times have we seen the propaganda machine at work in the morning followed by a suicide bomber taking out Iraqi citizens or US military an hour later?

It actually makes him look like a nutcase not dealing with reality.

12. I can't imagine this helping *.
He got US into this nightmare. Most of the hardcore Pukes will be infuriated when he symbolically gives up control. But the fact is many American soldiers will still be there, on the ground, and, tragically, dying. I would be overjoyed if * could wave a magic wand and make everything happy go lucky again, but I'm not delusional.

7. Which part alarms you?
That there will be greater bloodshed in the coming months? We all knew that. Before the war started, DUers were saying this war would escalate until our eventual departure.

Are you alarmed that Bush actually thinks we are stupid enough to believe he is pulling out? He is activating the inactive reserves, transfering troops from South Korea, and not allowing our troops to retire when they are supposed to. You think we are pulling anything back or turning anything over? Why do you think we are bringing Chalabi down now, on charges that have been known about him since before the invasion? It's to install more of our own puppets. Chalabi, thanks for the use of your lies, now exit stage right.

It's just more of what we've expected all along. Lies, deceit, and slaughter. And we get to blame the victims.

9. that's pretty much it
I just was a bit taken aback upon seeing this story. I wanted to know if DUers thought it was just a bunch of crap or if there were any shreds of truth to it.

11. Smirky and his buddies are delusional.........
Anyone they appoint to govern will be immediately killed.

Iraq is a hopeless quagmire, and the war-chimp will be the very last person to figure that out.

The US legislators should be questioning his mental state. I think he's lost it. I hope some clever generals have had the foresight to disable chimpy's ability to use "the button".
