2. I have noticed...
in several of the photos we've now seen, that Iraqi mens underwear are pulled halfway down their legs. Now we see another one in this group of photos (#5). I hate to think about why that is.

It seems with each new batch of photos released to the public, they are progressively worse than the previous ones. I have never felt more shamed.

4. Oh Dear God
Call me a bleeding heart liberal, I don't care. We had no right to do this to these people. These are not the ones who brought us 9/11.

What the hell kind of dog is that anyway? And that prisoner collapsed on the railing. Jesus Joseph and Mary.

We shall reap what has been sown.

10. I believe the dog is German Shepherd
And kinda cute. I'm sure he's a sweetheart when he's not being used as a tool to scare the shit or disfigure people.

6. we have lost whatever moral authority we may have had . . .
the Iraqi people will never forgive this torture, and rightly so . . . torture and abuse appear to be standard operating procedures among Americans in charge of detainees these days . . . BushCo must be held accountable, both here and in the World Court . . . and although they plan a permanent presence in Iraq, there is no way the U.S. can remain there without sacrificing thousands more lives and billions more dollars . . . as a nation we are defeated, and we did it to ourselves . . .

7. Look at the faces....
the FEAR in the faces of the Iraqi and the SMILES on the faces of the Americans.

This entire WAR was so unnecessary.

And we probably won't know peace in the Middle East during our lifetime now....

14. Bush is STILL saying this crap
"Iraq is free of rape rooms and torture chambers."—President Bush, remarks to 2003 Republican National Committee Presidential Gala, Oct. 8, 2003

"One thing is for certain: There won't be any more mass graves and torture rooms and rape rooms."—Bush, press availability in Monterrey, Mexico, Jan. 12, 2004

"Saddam Hussein now sits in a prison cell, and Iraqi men and women are no longer carried to torture chambers and rape rooms …"—Bush, remarks on "Winston Churchill and the War on Terror," Feb. 4, 2004

"Our military is … performing brilliantly. See, the transition from torture chambers and rape rooms and mass graves and fear of authority is a tough transition. And they're doing the good work of keeping this country stabilized as a political process unfolds."—Bush, remarks on "Tax Relief and the Economy," Iowa, April 15, 2004

19. WAR CRIMES
Who ordered these actions?

THESE ARE WAR CRIMES. We have photos of torture and Iraqis killed in custody. Obviously it goes deeper.

Will Rumsfeld be in front of an international tribunal in 5 years? Will Bush*?

What kind of sickos are running our country?

20. I don't know how you Americans feel,
but it's not enough to get rid of Bushco.

I feel very strongly that the members of this Administration should
be tried for War Crimes. I wonder how it could be managed?

27. Would be tough but just....
The United Nations...a LOT of investigation...and a number of years need to pass before any big dogs are prosecuted.

Bush*, as usual in his life (school, Vietnam, DUI arrest, cocaine abuse, failed businesses), will slip by thanks to connections.

28. Who is leaking these photos?
It seems to me that there's a real method to how (whoever it is) is going about it. Is it the CIA? Is it being drawn out, a few photos at a time, for maximum effect?

and are releasing them slowly, bit by bit.

Not sure if any other media org has that many.
