Iraqi Prisoner abuse: it seems to me......

Okay, so these kids who were said to be naive... were prison guards who were never told anything about the geneva convention provisions.
Okay, so it seems as though the forms of humiliation and torture that were inflicted upon these poor souls were uniquely designed to hurt someone of the prisoners' specific cultural backgrounds (Use of dogs, feces, having to retrieve your food from a toilet, open sexual contact, co-ed nudity..)
Okay, so are these naive kids supposed to have devised these forms of torture on their own?
I think not!
Who did the research on the necessary forms of humiliation?
Who created this program?
Who gave the orders?
Were the soldiers involved "hand selected" for some reason?
Was there actual training in what to do or was the expected behavior only alluded to?
What relationship does the use of "interrogation contractors" have to this whole affair?
