Some of today's peeps came to the fore in the Ford administration. Cheney was Ford's Chief of Staff, Rumsfeld his Defence Secretary (& Poppy head of CIA) -- the "Team B" exercise gave us Wolfowitz amoungst others & all the while, the hardline anti-communist lobby group the "Committee on the Present Danger" provided many of the peeps we know today (Perle et al) as well as Reagan era criminals.
