Boston Globe editorial cites "Army Times": Rumsfield should resign.
Globe columist\writer Greene cites The Army Times as to: Rumsfield should resign. This is pretty big news coming from what I presume is the offical U.S. Army`s Newspaper\magazine. I was in the Marines and do not know for sure. Any Soldiers or former soldiers or relatives of Soldiers know exactly what the "Army Times" is ? It seems some high ranking officer would have to have OKed such a powerfull statement in the Army`s` official Newspaper. Bush and his crew are on thier way out. ...Oscar

2. Not only because of the prison abuse, horrible planning, or his repeated..
ignoring of experts in the run up to war, but also because he ignored state department and CIA warnings that Chalabi was untrustworthy and ended up helping an Iranian spy!

3. Resign? He should be in prison!
Why do they lock up the enlisted soldiers and let the officers "resign"?

4. Army Times
Army Times is not official.

It's a private newspaper but it's read by lots of military people. It's like a trade magazine or trade newspaper, like Variety or the Hollywood Reporter.

It is still quite significant, but not as much as I had thought. ...Oscar

7. it's just another Gannett newspaper
they have one for navy and airforce, too.

it reflects the official views of the army about like 'cat fancy' reflects the official views of cats.
