Poll question: Is Dubya the Anti-Christ?
It's my post number 666, so to celebrate, I wanted to use this topic. A few months ago someone else did something similar. I can't remember who, so I can't give credit (or blame) where it's due.

Anyway, what do you think?

2. Even though his name fits the 666 rule, he's too stupid for the job...
....the Antichrist described in biblical prophecy will be a very intelligent man, who is able to deceive the majority of the world into believing he's a man of peace. Junior can't even convince the majority of Freepers.

7. Maybe he's deceiving us into thinking he's stupid?
I know several Repugs who get very rattled when I suggest Bush* is as dumb as dirt. They've got plenty of "intelligent" comebacks like: If he's so dumb, how did he get to be president? or He's smarter than you, he's made millions and is president! or His grades were better than Gore's.

So, maybe his deception is working! I know one thing, if he is faking it, he deserves a lifetime Oscar.

There ain't no "Rapture" in the Bible, people who profess belief in Christ do not ascend to heaven before things get really rotten, they still have evil in their hearts like anybody else and anyways what's the deal with them "fulfilling prophecy" like rebuilding David's temple and Israel reclaiming all of it's OT territory before Jesus is "allowed" to return anyways?

13. I just learned it today
The clerk at the convenience store told me while I was buying gas. She had bible verses and everything to back it up. I mean, I had thought about it before, but I'm an atheist, so I don't much keep up with bible prophecies. But considering that the man is incontrovertably evil, and that the clerk has arcane religious evidence of his demonic nature, it must be true. After all, how often do the secular and the religous come together on an issue?

the "antichrist" was Nero Caesar, assuming the "666" number is right by the original source. Which it isn't. The figure John used in his original was 616, which would be Caligula.

Bush is a lying asshole and a puppet, but should not be given more credit than he's due.
