and appears there never WERE any... and any investigation about prewar intell ought to include looking at the use of that intel by the admin".... Bayh says on national tv "We Know the Weapons are There!"
Sickens me the talk of this opportunistic fellow being considered as a possible VP. As if his popularity here in Indiana is GREATER than the popularity of Bush (yikes - but true)... wouldn't carry the state. Wouldn't help carry any neighboring state. Wouldn't do anything but possibly put him and his Newt Agreeing Ways - inside the White House.
6. Bayh has been defending bush and pubs all along.
Bayh is right up there with Zell Miller and even worse than Lieberman.
There needs to be a way the Dems could kick people like that out of the party. It's totally hypocritical for them to ask for Democratic votes and then function as zealous right wing Republicans.
he said something very close to "the goodwill of the iraqi people is a depreciating asset" (those last two words are dead-on, it's the first few I can't quite remember exactly...)
christ - so iraqi goodwill is becoming worth less and less? rofl/cry..... of course, what he meant to say (unless he's a repub in dem clothing) is that iraqi goodwill is a DIMINISHING asset....
