one to arrange the invasion of a country rumored to have a secret stockpile of lightbulbs,

one to get together with Vice President Cheney and figure out how to pay Halliburton Industries one million dollars for a lightbulb,

one to arrange a photo-op session showing Bush changing the lightbulb while dressed in a flight suit and wrapped in an American flag,

and finally one to explain to Bush the difference between screwing a lightbulb and screwing the country.

Once there was a Presidential election that was too close to call. Neither the Republican nor the Democratic presidential candidate earned enough votes to win the election. Therefore, it was decided that there should be an ice-fishing contest between the two candidates to determine the final winner. There was much talk about ballot recounting, court challenges, and hanging chads, but a week-long ice-fishing competition seemed the genuinely manly way to settle things. The candidate who caught the most fish at the end of the week would win. After a lot of back and forth discussion, it was decided that the contest would take place on a cold, remote lake in Maine. There were to be no observers present, and both men were to set out separately on the lake, returning daily with
their catch for counting and verification.

At the end of the first day, Kerry returned to the starting line with ten fish, while GW returned with none. His supporters assumed he was just having another bad hair day or something and, hopefully, he would catch up the next day.

At the end of the second day, Kerry came in with twenty fish, but again, GW came in with none.

That evening, GW's Daddy got together secretly with GW and said, "I think Kerry is a lowlife cheating &$@!@#&$&@. I want you to go out tomorrow and don't even bother with fishing. Just spy on him and see if he is cheating in any way."

The next night, after Kerry came back with fifty fish, GW's Daddy asked his son, "Well, what about it, son? Is Kerry cheating?"

GW replied, "He sure is, Dad-----he's cutting holes in the ice."
