Beyond freeper, there's this
"The thing is with libs, is that they didn`t forget 911. They just see it differently from normal people because they`re psychotic, just like their allies the terrorists and the tyrants, and I say that as no joke. It is something I firmly believe. They see 911 as a righteous attack against this country and they prove this belief and have been proving this belief with their actions and comments everyday since 911. You`ll change the minds of Al Qaida before you`ll change the minds of the `rats in this country, which is why I say lets exchange all the `rats for Al Qaida. Offer an Al Qaida guy US citizenship in exchange for say, a Susan Sarandon mutt and so on."

The creator of this entertainment is a man named Gaspar Santiago. Gaspar is very angry, and seems to feel that everything that is wrong with the world (and his life) can be blamed on "liberals".

Gaspar lost a brother in 9/11 and has chosen to believe that inflicting pain on others will ease our social ills. A tragicomic extreme of the wingnut agenda.

1. It's too bad he lost a brother on 9-11.
Too bad it wasn't him.

2. Umm....
one of the reasons we're better than Free Republic is that we don't wish death on those with whom we disagree.

3. And that's also why we get our teeth kicked in on a regular basis.
i.e. 2000 selection fiasco and 2002 mid terms.

9. That's just dumb
to think that the Dems would have won more elections if they had wished that certain Republicans died on 9/11.

12. Unfortunately......

there is a rabidly partisan faction on this board that wallows in glee when a high visibility Republican leaning figure does pass into the beyond.

Truth be told, there are moments when the only difference I see between DU and FR is the political sentiment expressed because the content of some comments is expressed in exactly the same way.

Admittedly, the occurances are less on DU than FR but it should give pause to people who say that Democrats are inherently nicer and more pleasant than Republicans.

15. We ARE a lot nicer than the repukes
We care about ALL people.....not just the rich. We care more about the elderly, the poor, the middle class, the environment,jobs....well,we care more about EVERYTHING. Repukes care more about greed and power and to pass laws to keep the rest of us down. Nuff said.

4. Everything is so black and white with the Retardlicans

Got a chuckle out of this headline:

"Website called Friends of Hitlery starts group called "Hills Angels" dedicated to the promotion of one of the most despicable politicians in the history of this country"

Ummm, "Friends of HITLERY"?

I must say, it takes mighty big balls to compare Mrs. Clinton to Hitler, when you worship George W. Bush.

And almost three years later, and they're still going after the Clintons? Mentions of 'Travelgate'. Sheesh! Get over it already!

I'm surprised these people were smart enough to figure out how to do HTML to create a web site.

13. It's equally black and white here
Look at the title of your post for proof.

I see FR and DU as polarized as each other.

6. I haven't forgotten 9.11 and I *do* see it differently from this guy. BUT
I sure as heck don't see the terrorist attack as a good thing. I see it as a MASSIVE FAILURE of the Bush* administration to protect America from terrorism. Bush* ignored so many warnings leading up to 9.11 it almost looks like he might have let it happen on purpose. Bush* has definitely benefited, politically, from the terrorist attacks more than anyone else in the world.
