Did you ever hear anyone claim Clinton was the Antichrist?

It appears that saying the right wing thinks Clinton is the Antichrist isn't always a metaphor. According to some old articles I've been reading Pat Robertson and Co. were saying things like that Y2K would create a post-apocalyptic world, in which Clinton would declare martial law, suspend the Constitution and declare himself President-For-Life, then reveal himself as the Antichrist and bring about Armageddon.

So, did you ever in the Clinton years run into fundie nutcases claiming Clinton was The Beast, or anything of the sort?

I seem to remember that Pat Robertson wrote a book making a bunch of claims that have been proven false.

It's very important, apparently, that the anti-Christ be extremely popular all around the world.

No relious right person would ever claim this popularity for W, so would never think of W as the anti-Christ.

However, I don't think they were serious about it. My mom had a friend who was convinced that Reagan was the anti-christ because Ronald Wilson Reagan = 666. She was a nut, anyway.
