These are POOR people in the middle of a desert! If, in fact, it turns out that this actually was a wedding party, and if the U.S. military lied through its teeth to cover up yet another in a series of terrible, fatal mistakes in Iraq, then there should be some swift and terrible consequences -- all the way up the chain of command, all the way to the White House.

They are engaged in a process of terrifying the Iraqi population to try and get them to role over and bend to their will.

That's what all the Torture is about also IMO.

It's psychological warfare time.

They are Torturing innocent civilians and murdering innocent Iraqis
